Saporito Contracting, Inc.is a full service, versatile design and build construction company, located in Wantagh, Long Island, New York. Areas of expertise and specialty include all phases of home improvements; custom building and remodeling; historic and structural restoration; custom woodworking; carpentry; cabinetry; architectural millwork and trim; design consultation; home inspection; and home repairs. Saporito Contracting Inc. began part time operations in 1977 and became fully operational and a New York State Corporation in 1986.

The founder, president and owner of Saporito Contracting Inc., Jeffrey Saporito, brings a unique combination of education and training, mechanical skills, traditional techniques, historical and architectural interest, attention to detail, enthusiasm and experience to the company, all of which serve to broaden the range of capabilities and professionalism of the organization.

Prior to establishing Saporito Contracting Inc. in 1986, Jeffrey Saporito enjoyed a twelve year career in the aerospace and associated industries as mechanic, technician, model maker, machinist and design engineer. Much of the experience, training and discipline gleaned from that highly technical and exacting industry finds similar application in operating this construction company, and helps to lend a very uncommon and unique dimension of professionalism and capability to this organization that is not often found in today’s construction business.

Jeffrey Saporito has been a resident of Wantagh, New York, since 1978, and in addition to operating his company, Saporito Contracting, Inc., Mr. Saporito also volunteers his time and resources to many other worthwhile community projects and endeavors. As a supporter and fan of Wantagh, Jeffrey Saporito is the current president of the Wantagh Historical Society, is an active member of the Wantagh Chamber Of Commerce, and is a trustee on the board of the Wantagh/Seaford Homeowners Association. 
 
In addition to these community oriented activities, Mr. Saporito also is involved with several trade organizations, and volunteers as "Skill Olympics" judge for VICA, (Vocational Industrial Clubs Of America), and advises on the carpentry consultation panel of BOCES, (Nassau County Board Of Cooperative Education Services, a vocational trade school), and is also a member of the advisory committee of the Gerald Claps Career and Technical Center at Levittown Memorial High School. As a side note, the most successful members of our staff over the years have been graduates from the fine craft programs offered at both of these vocational schools.
